Sales Policy

Through written descriptions and photographs my goal is to provide you with a thorough and accurate description of an item including (where possible) the age, materials, maker, country of origin, condition and other pertinent facts. Not all of this information is available for every item; for example, much Victorian and Georgian jewelry is often unsigned and not hallmarked, whereas Scandinavian jewelry often has designer and makers marks, country of origin, and date of production.

Where information such as dates and countries of origin are not exactly known it’s customary to circa date and identify jewelry based on the style, motifs, materials, construction, findings, stone cuts, and other variables.

Every effort is made to research and describe listed items accurately. You are encouraged to ask questions, ask for more photographs or to discuss any item with me. Therefore an item may only be returned for a refund if the condition, or the materials were inaccurately represented.

The customer must notify me within three days of receiving the item that there is a concern. Authorized returns must then be received back within the following 7 days in the same condition as when they were sent to the customer. Returns are at the customer’s expense and risk, and any alteration or damage of any kind to the item will negate a refund.

Layaway Policy:

Layaway can be available for most items over $300. Please contact me for terms. All layaway sales are final.

Insurance:

Insurance is required on all pottery and glass items. It is also required on all sales exceeding $250.

Sales Tax:

Sales Tax must be paid by NY residents unless you can provide a valid Re-sale number.

New York City Residents:

If you wish to see an item in person that can generally be arranged.
