West German ceramic vase with a rough textured finish and enameled center. The vase is 14" tall and tapered. The top and bottom sections have a rough textured greenish finish. The center is composed of three bands of abstractly painted circles that alternate in height within the band. In excellent condition and in a muted palette, this is a nice example of mid century production pottery.

This sterling silver necklace is by the Austrian studio, relo. Great space age, atomic look;I have a bracelet by them which is of similar design (item 1743). The pendant part is 3 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches long. The lowest portion swings freely from the rest of the pendant. The design makes great use of negative space and the protruding pod like elements make a great contrast to the linear design of the rest of the piece. This is a spectacular Roberto Burle Marx 18K gold necklace and earrings in their original box. The Brazilian Marx, primarily known as a landscape designer was also an accomplished artist who painted, sculpted and made jewelry which is highly collectible today. A pottery vase by Richard Uhlemeyer, a German studio potter whose work had a significant influence on the mid-century artistic explosion of the 1950's-70's. In 1938, three years after opening his own workshop, he received his master’s designation in pottery. He experimented with the development of differentiated and complicated glazes. This 18K gold ring is set with 5 green faceted tourmalines and marked 18K, Italy. The rectangular frame is partly backed with gold sheet that has an abstract linear design. The other side is open backed, offsetting the 5 prong set tourmalines. The face of the ring is 11/16ths by 1 inch. It's a fine looking piece and in great condition. Currently a size 6 3/4, it could easily be resized.

Wonderful design and color to this patinated bronze choker necklace by Ed Gray. A Native American, Ed (his native name is Jikiwe)is based in Michigan where he has a studio and gallery. This piece, signed and dated 1972 has great dimensions and color. The neckring is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the entire piece is 10 1/2 inches long. Very striking looking and comfortable to wear, this is a unique piece of art jewelry.

Well constructed modern silver necklace set with an amethyst druzy. The large curved bale is very reminiscent of Scandinavian jewelry but this piece is most likely German or Austrian. The diamond shaped bezel is constructed of silver bars and set into the semicircular bale. The pendant measures 3" long by 1 1/2" at the widest point. Marked as pictured and the 32" chain, though not original, is included.
