This sterling silver Finnish necklace has two complete sets of marks as pictured. The pendant has the date mark for 1970, while the bale is date marked 1973. The geometric abstract pendant is 2 inches long (including bale) and 1 1/8 inch wide. This piece is by Erik Granit and it has all the usual Finnish marks including the country mark, the city mark for Helsinki, 925H for silver content and the year marks noted above.
Wonderful pair of Salvador Teran silver earrings with an industrial design look. The heavily patinated earrings are screwbacks (could be converted) and are in excellent condition and marked as pictured. These are quite rare and also heavy, weighing in at 122 grams for the pair. Unique and striking, they are 1 3/4 inches long.
Abstract sterling silver Rey Urban pin made for the A.Fausing company of Denmark. Urban was Swedish and produced his own jewelry but executed many designs for Fausing. The pin is 1 3/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches. Excellent condition and signed Rey Urban. I have another Urban piece listed which can also be worn as a pendant.
Striking ring for Georg Jensen by Nanna Ditzel. An acclaimed designer, Ditzel also designed furniture and textiles and worked well into her 80s. She are her husband started working for Jensen in the 1950s. This chevron shaped ring is elegant and unusual. It has a streamlined almost art deco design. It's about a size 5 3/4 and in fine condition.
Wonderful and rare tile by H Schaffenacker who established his studio in 1948 in Ulm, Germany. He created many striking ceramic vases and the designs of his tiles/wall plaques vary from the completely abstract to highly stylized figures of horses, people, fish and other forms found in nature. Exceptional sterling silver ring by Robert Lee Morris. Morris has been designing jewelry since 1970 and has worked with designers such as Calvin Klein and Donna Karan. This particular ring is a "saddle shape" that is bold in it's simplicity but substantial in it's execution. This fabulous ring weighs 26 grams and is a pleasure to wear. This mid-century German vase by Carstens has a cobalt blue matte finish and metallic overlay decor pattern. Sculptural, modernist silver bracelet and ring by the Austrian studio, relo. Well designed and constructed, the elegance of both pieces is noteworthy. The bracelet weighs 49 grams and is 1 inch wide with an inner circumference of 6 1/2 inches, though it has an overall oval shape.
