This handwrought sterling silver cuff bracelet is by famed mid-century furniture designer Hugh Acton. Acton who studied at Cranbrook started producing furniture in the 1950s. Examples of his work can be found on 1stdibs.com. Now in his 80's he is reintroducing some of his furniture through Design Within Reach and is also making silver jewelry.

This 24K gold, sterling silver and diamond while contemporary clearly shows historic influences of its native Turkey. Made by Kurtulan of Istanbul, the domed ring has an intricate pierced pattern which allows the 24K sheet to radiate through. The back of the dome is also cut in rectangular shapes. The ring contains close to 10 grams of gold and s set with 3, 1 pt diamonds.
