The design and construction of this Jacob Hull necklace are wonderful. Hull worked in silver and gold plate which is at least in part what contributes to his original and unusual designs. The hinge on the left side (where the gold and silver meet) swings the neckring open so it's very easy to put on and remove. The bottom part is 4 1/4 inches and about 7 i/2 inches long. Large and unusual pendant necklace from Finland, dated 1977, no makers mark. This carved slab of silver has a multitude of surface finishes and varying depths. A lower carved out opening has a suspended freely swinging ball. The pendant itself is is 2 3/8 inches by 1 1/2 inches. No makers mark but bears all of the other traditional Finnish marks. Chain is not original but is included and is 22 1/2 inches long. Total weight is 47 grams.

This sterling silver necklace is by Danish designer Rudolf Andresen, for Aabenraa, Denmark. It's signed RuA and marked Sterling, Denmark on the rear. Extremely graceful,with great contrasts and depth, it lies in a circle across the collarbones.

In excellent condition, it is an uncommon piece and highly versatile. It has a toggle clasp and is just over 14 inches long. The abstract elements are 1 1/4 inch long.

These Scandinavian silver earrings from Finland are by the firm Kaunis Koru. They have the year mark for 1969 along with the rest of the Finnish marks found on silver jewelry. They originally were screwbacks but have been converted to posts. They are 1 3/8 inches long and very comfortable. Great condition and design.

Unusual, very long sterling silver pendant necklace by N.E.From of Norway. This is often referred to as "necktie" jewelry due to it's construction. In fact it was designed as men's jewelry, some examples of which are illustrated on page 115 of New Design in Jewelry, Donald Willcox. This sterling silver ring is by Thor Selzer who also designed many pieces for Georg Jensen. Selzer trained as a goldsmith and has had his own workshop since 1957. It is a size 5 3/4 and could be resized with compromising the marks. Fine condition. The ring sits about 1/4 inch above the finger and is marked as pictured.
