Distinctive glass vase/object attributed to Hungarian artist Geza Takacs. The elegant shape and design are enhanced by the very slightly concave circular pattern on the surface. This creates a great optical illusion when looking through the vase (see photos) It is 8 1/4 inches tall and in excellent condition.
Glass decanter by Holmegaard, Denmark in the Cluck-Cluck design. The sides of this blocky shaped decanter look like they have collapsed or been squeezed inward. It's a teal blue and is 10" tall and 3 1/2" wide. This design comes in various sizes and colors including a bent version. Excellent condition. It is unsigned, which is typical for Holmegaard, it probably had a label on it when it was first purchased.
Scandinavian glass vase designed by Bengt Orup for Hyllinge, Sweden. Most of his work was done for Johansfors but he spent four years at Hyllinge before returning there. Trained as a painter, he moved on to glass and later returned to painting. This piece is part of the Cinder, Stromboli series which can be found on his website.
