These gold retro earrings have a well balanced composition of rounded shapes and contrasting colors. The gold swirling element ends in a curl and encompasses a beautiful moonstone with lovely adularescence (the glow, commonly associated with moonstones, that emanates from within the stone). Completing the gold curve are 3 small faceted rubies. The earrings have their original screw backs which can easily be changed. The earrings are in very fine condition. ...click for details

These 18K gold retro earrings are quintessentially 1950s. The scored conical dangles terminate in a large bead. They are suspended from a curving centerpiece which is in part layered with white gold and diamonds. Topping it all is curved lattice work vaguely triangular shape. A number of interesting contrasts and surfaces adorn these earrings. They are for pierced ears and in excellent condition; marked both 750 and 18K. They are 2 inches long and very comfortable on the ear.

This sterling silver bracelet is by the Ottaviani firm of Italy. Started as a family business in 1945, they are still operating today and continuing to produce fine jewelry, and silver objects. This bracelet I believe to be quite early based on it's retro design. Each round-ish link of varying widths has a three dimensional floral motif within. It weighs 51 grams, is 7 1/2 inches by 1 1/16th inch and is in fine condition and has a foldover clasp with a built in safety. Marked in two places a ...click for details

This 18K gold brooch (pin) has a highly sculptural, swirling and three dimensional design. The piece is basically circular and has an undulating curving structure. The surface has a florentine finish while the edges of each curve are shiny. The whole is pierced with circles of varying sizes. There's a lot going on here but it all works together. The pin is roughly 1 3/8 inches in diameter and has a trombone clasp. Marked 18K on the rear, it would be easy to add a bale to this so it could ...click for details

This silver art deco bracelet shows the influence of industrial design in its composition. Highly geometric, very streamlined and sleek. It's marked 835 for silver content (stronger than sterling silver) and has a maker's mark I have yet to identify. It's European in origin, probably German or Czech. It weighs 40 grams, is 7 1/2 inches long and 7/8 of an inch wide. Box clasp with safety lock. Great condition with a wonderful patina.

This Belgiorno silver bracelet has a wonderful matte textured finish. Belgiorno, an Argentinian firm founded in 1931 by Antonio Belgiorno is still in business today in Buenos Aires. This bracelet has 8 boomerang "like" shapes that have a matte finish with a very fine linear pattern. The bracelet is 7 1/4" x 5/8" and weighs a substantial 58.8 grams. There are several marks on both sides of the clasp, which are pictured. In excellent condition, this is a great example of the pe ...click for details
