McClelland Barclay Art Deco Silver Bracelet
This art deco sterling silver bracelet is by McClelland Barclay who was an artist, sculptor, and jewelry designer. He was killed during WWII. He originally worked as an illustrator for Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping magazines and designed military recruiting posters as well. He designed jewelry from approximately 1932 to 1938, both costume and sterling silver. This lovely deco bracelet has a very stylized floral pattern and is fully marked (see photo). It is 8” x 3/4", weighs 35 grams and is in excellent condition.
