| This silver modernist ring by Theresia Hvorslev has an organic and fluid design. She is a Swedish designer who worked for Alton and Mema and has her own studio as well. The ring has an open shank so there is room to size it up or down but it is currently a size 8. The top of the ring is 1 1/8" x 13/16ths and it sits about 3/8ths above the finger. There are marks on both sides of the shank which are pictured. On one side: Mema (the manufacturer), L (for the city of Lidkoping) three crowns in a heart (the Sweden mark), and the year mark Y9 for 1973. The other side of the shank is marked with the designer's signature, 925S for sterling and SWEDEN. In excellent condition. I also have the matching necklace listed. (item 1809) | |||||||
