| This mid-century German vase by Carstens has a cobalt blue matte finish and metallic overlay decor pattern. A very distinctive looking piece, this pattern is called Ankara and was produced in several sizes and shapes. In excellent condition, it is 8" tall, and 18 1/2" in circumference at its widest. Carstens operated from 1945-1984 and most of the designs were created by Trude Carstens the wife of the founder who was artistic director until 1965. | |||||||
