| 2 different sterling silver rings by Kelim jewelry, whose pieces are frequently architectural, and always modernist in the simplicity and elegance of their designs. Many of their designs are substantive but are executed in a surprisingly light and comfortable fashion. The ring on the left is one curved sheet of solid sterling silver ending with a dynamic swoop. The shank is a size 6 1/2 but is open so has some flexibility to be sized up or down slightly. The "rice" ring is a band formed of flattened oval shapes. There are two of these available in sizes 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 and again because they are open can be sized upwards slightly. There is a matching bracelet and necklace in this pattern (item numbers KL501 and BL296 and images of each are included in this listing). Kelim Jewelry was founded in 1992 by Meral and Halil Sartekin. The couple began designing jewelry inspired by the patterns in the traditional Turkish carpets and the natural beauty of their adopted county, Switzerland. Kelim Jewelry is 925 Silver with a fine silver finish. A jewelry tarnish protectant is applied at the end of the production process so Kelim Jewelry will take longer to tarnish than most other silver jewelry. | |||||||||
