| The first Kelim sterling silver necklace pictured is in their "rice" pattern - an abstract assemblage of flat oval silver tiles soldered together in almost floral patterns. The necklace is 17 inches long and 1/2 inch wide and has a matching ring; item #UZ148. Kelim's pieces are frequently architectural, and always modernist in the simplicity and elegance of their designs. The second necklace is a delicate, vine like design interspersed with three dimensional paisley shapes. It measures 17 inches by 1 inch. Kelim Jewelry was founded in 1992 by Meral and Halil Sartekin. The couple began designing jewelry inspired by the patterns in the traditional Turkish carpets and the natural beauty of their adopted county, Switzerland. Kelim Jewelry is 925 Silver with a fine silver finish. A jewelry tarnish protectant is applied at the end of the production process so Kelim Jewelry will take longer to tarnish than most other silver jewelry. | ||||||||
