| Two different styles of Kelim sterling silver earrings are posted here. The first, have a great geometric structure - 5 silver discs of decreasing size are horizontally displayed on a coiled silver bar which seamlessly becomes the hangar and earwire. 2" x 7/8". There are two pairs available. The second pair are a long curved wire with two sort of paisley shaped pieces on the three points of the earring. These are 2 1/2 inches long. There is a matching necklace, item number KL878, pictured in the last image. Kelim pieces are frequently architectural, and always modernist in the simplicity and elegance of their designs. Many of their designs are substantive but are executed in a surprisingly light and comfortable fashion. Kelim Jewelry was founded in 1992 by Meral and Halil Sartekin. The couple began designing jewelry inspired by the patterns in the traditional Turkish carpets and the natural beauty of their adopted county, Switzerland. Kelim Jewelry is 925 Silver with a fine silver finish. A jewelry tarnish protectant is applied at the end of the production process so Kelim Jewelry will take longer to tarnish than most other silver jewelry. | ||||||||||
