| Two different Kelim sterling silver necklaces are pictured here. The first, is a flapper style very long chain interspersed with two alternating sizes of intersecting circular shapes. This 52 inch necklace can be worn as such or can be worn doubled. I have two pairs of Kelim earrings that are not matching but have similar designs - they are pictured at the end of this listing along with their item numbers. The other necklace is a lavaliere style snake chain adorned with calla lily styled ornaments. Kelim pieces are frequently architectural, and always modernist in the simplicity and elegance of their designs. Many of their designs are substantive but are executed in a surprisingly light and comfortable fashion. Kelim Jewelry was founded in 1992 by Meral and Halil Sartekin. The couple began designing jewelry inspired by the patterns in the traditional Turkish carpets and the natural beauty of their adopted county, Switzerland. Kelim Jewelry is 925 Silver with a fine silver finish. A jewelry tarnish protectant is applied at the end of the production process so Kelim Jewelry will take longer to tarnish than most other silver jewelry. | ||||||||||||
