| This chunky silver pendant is by Jorma Laine of Finland. Though symmetrical in shape, the pendant has a deeply cratered surface creating many variations of color and shade. Similar in design to works by Weckstrom and Hyvarinen (who were contemporaries) it is signed J Laine on the side and is marked on the rear with the date mark for 1972,830H (H is for hopea, the Finnish word for silver), the town mark for Turku,and the Finnish control mark. The pendant is 1 3/8" square, and 1/4 inch tall. The twisted silver bale is 1 3/8" long. | |||||||||
