| Elegant,long pair of sterling silver earrings by artist Esther Lewittes. The back plates are oxidized to create a strong contrast with the long silver bar bisecting the back plate and the five silver loops. Lewittes studied in NY in the 1950s and started making her own jewelry which she sold through other shops including Georg Jensen. She later moved to the west coast and had her own gallery in L.A. where she also carried work by other artists. These earrings have their original screw backs (easily converted) and are 2 1/2 inches long. | |||||||
